We are very excited to introduce our first-ever CIBI glass – the CIBI #1!
Made especially for us by Shotoku glass, we wanted to create a glass for “everyday use” that expresses the CIBI spirit, with intriguing, timeless design matched by superb quality and functionality. Once you start using it, you’ll never sip back to your old glasses!
To celebrate the launch of the CIBI #1 glass, please join us at our very special launch party. We’ll introduce you to the pleasures of drinking from this newest glass on the planet, and share the back-story on its design and manufacture.
For the $20 entry fee on the night, we’ll give you your own CIBI #1 glass (normal retail $25), fill it with your drinks of choice, and provide the snacks to complement them. Glass in hand is the perfect way to experience the CIBI #1 glass, and you’ll be one of a select group to be the first in the world to own it!
We have very limited quantities of the CIBI #1 glass available, so be sure to join us on the night. We look forward to seeing you – and your friends too!

Tenugui is a rectangular piece of hand-dyed fabric that you can use in whatever way takes your fancy. Made with myriad patterns, stories, characters, and styles, it can be a scarf, table runner, tea towel, or interior decor piece to brighten up your day. It’s also a highly versatile tool with a myriad of everyday uses in and around the house, in the outdoors, even camping.
Our tenugui are made by Kamawanu, the leading tenugui maker in Japan. They believe that tenugui are a communication tool between people, the different fabrics and patterns providing a conversation starter to its rich history in Japanese culture. Over the centuries tenugui have been used as a business card, business identity, to wrap things up, as a towel to wipe away sweat and dry things, and even to create something new.
At CIBI, we love how this simple fabric has become woven into cultural history as a simple tool that be used as part of everyday life. Even as you wipe your brow you can enjoy the colour, pattern and history, and the feel of the planet friendly fabric. They have myriad uses, so we keep a supply of them in the house.
MINA NIGHT "Minanoie Boutique Saturday Night Market"
Mina Saturday night market was started in 2013 as an experimental Retail and Food night on a Saturday evening. Our simple idea was “let’s open up our Mina space and share it with the public on an evening occasion”.
Do we call it a market, or do we call it something else? It’s a kind of a market but perhaps it’s just an evening where everyone can call it “home”. Instead of just going out to a restaurant or bar, why not stop in at Mina night on a Saturday evening and enjoy the moment with beautiful products and special Mina food. Sharing our space will be various products from other brands and makers in Melbourne who have a similar vision to us, and are absolutely passionate about what they do!
Mina Night! at Minanoie (everyone’s home) - we look forward to having you all over at our place to enjoy the evening, a place to be inspired and re-energise with all the goodies that are available.
This time at Mina Night, featured friends include Kloke, Tokyobike, Spacecraft, Tarlo & Graham, Honey Fingers, and Mac Forbes Wines – all amazing people we are very excited to see and spend an evening with.

Come & taste Japanese tea and feel younger!
Japanese tea has a lot of catechin (tannin), a bioflavonoid that has both antiviral and antioxidant qualities. Catechin protects the entire body from oxidative damage due to free radicals and other toxins in our environment…
So simply, tea is good for you, and we love it!
We have various teas from our tea farm in Nagasaki that we’ll taste and compare, to help you pick the one you like the best!
Let’s explore CIBI tea time together.
